New 'Do

The other day Dan observed that the way I do Esther's hair (one whale spout on top of her head) leaves a lot of loose hair for her to wipe syrup and other goodies in.  He wondered if I knew how to do any other hairstyles that might keep more of her hair out of harm's way?  I'm not really a hair person (and that is an understatement), but I rose to the challenge and came up with this new 'do for Essie Lou:

She looks so cute! I am impressed with the new do. I just barely figured out how to put elastics in my girls' haie so I'm right there with ya ;)

Love love love it. :-) When it gets longer I'll teach you how to French braid it or do a fish tail. :-) My only hair skills, and I cannot do them on myself. Which is why I look like...me, all the time...

Esther is so cute. I never get to do cute stuff with little girls hair. I am so jealous. I can't believe she will be 2 in a few months. Honestly, it feels like you and Janie just pregnant.

You've come a long way, Andrea! It looks perfect! She looked darling at church too. Your an expert. Now if we can only get Lucy to grow some hair, you can teach me what to do!

You and me both! She looked so cute in her little pig tails. Anna's hair is almost long enough for her pigtails to stay in.

Adorable! But I also liked the little piggy tail on top, too. She's beautiful no matter what you do to her hair.
